Meka is currently on stage at Orlando Shakespeare Theatre (Orlando, FL) featured as Hannah and Others in the groundbreaking contemporary musical, Come From Away! Hannah is a dream role for Meka! She finally landed the part after auditioning for Broadway and the Tours! The Shakes production is receiving rave reviews from both critics and patrons. They've called it inspiring, heartwarming, heartbreaking and humorous. Many are enjoying the journey the story takes the viewers on, saying the actors are so real in their portrayals. Meka and her cast had the honor of performing the show on the 25th Anniversary of 9/11. Embodying the true spirit of what the show is about, Orlando Shakes is taking donations every night for the Orlando Fire Department.

You can catch Meka in the PURE FLIX Series, THE ADVOCATE. The show is about a child protective services investigator who has a near death experience, leaving her with supernatural abilities to solve crimes and help those in need. Meka appears in the Guest Star role of Amber's Mom, a woman battling cancer who speaks to her daughter through a heartfelt letter before death. The cast is already gearing up for Season 3!

Meka had an amazing run at Oregon Cabaret Theatre (Ashland, OR), featured as Matron "Mama" Morton in the hit musical Chicago! She and her cast received critical acclaim for their production, selling out 8 shows a week. Critics heralded Meka's powerful voice and acting ability as excellent and amazing! Patrons called her "Mama" portrayal regal, mesmerizing and fun!
